Recognizing that several factors including cultural beliefs, education level, and fear contribute to how one decides to obtain care, AWCAA has remained committed to delivering culturally appropriate support services to the women and families we serve. We provide patient navigation services to underserved, under privileged, and under insured African immigrant women, supporting them as they move through the continuum of care from awareness and prevention to treatment and survivorship.
