Our partnership with the Sierra Leone embassy has spanned years. It has been a relationship that has contributed to the success of our work in serving the African immigrant communities. Their support has added value to the impact we have made over the years. As part of our effort to encourage everyone to stay safe during the pandemic, we visited the embassy and donated Personal Protective Equipment for its staff and members of the Sierra Leone community. The bags were presented by AWCAA’s Director of Navigation Ms. Milly Terry to Mrs. Rakie M. B. McCarthy, Head of Chancery of the Embassy of Sierra Leone, who represented the Ambassador, who wasn’t around in person but later called to appreciate AWCAA for our contribution towards improving the state of the African immigrant community.
